Ashburn’s Art Program

Here at Ashburn Lutheran School, each child is an artist. Our students study, explore, and create, and investigate in art class, learning that art is not merely “painting” or “drawing.” Our artists explore a wide variety of media including sculpture, textiles, paper-arts, and sewing, as a mode of expression. Students learn about art works from different cultures across the globe, artists from different eras, and learn how to use the arts as a mode for their own self-expression.
